Hoachlander Davis Photography, established in 1990, is an award winning photography studio dedicated to the fine art of photographing architecture, interior design and corporate advertising. Specializing in interior lighting techniques and proficient in all camera formats, these photographers apply their dynamic skills to all aspects of the built-environment. Hoachlander Davis Photography maintains a diverse client base of professionals who specialize in both commercial and residential design. Our clients are among the most prominent architects, interior, advertising and graphic designers, and industry-based magazines in the country. HDP photographs are often featured in design competitions, web sites, brochures, magazine articles and marketing portfolios. Our staff travels nationally, sustaining a growing clientele that works without borders. We photograph exciting projects, some of which can be seen in such publications as Interior Design, Architectural Record, Home Magazine, Trends, This Old House, Custom Home, Historic Preservation, Washingtonian, Inform, Buildings Magazine, and Residential Architect. These professional artists bring to their discipline an inexhaustible interest in finding ways to communicate their client's design intent. They prefer to work with their clients as part of a team-visiting the project, discussing angles and reviewing digital scout shots prior to the scheduled shoot day. Pre-production measures such as these ensure the creation of the best possible final product. Images are typically created with a 4x5 view camera, which provides optimal clarity and use of architectural perspective techniques. Digital photography, 35mm slide and medium film formats are also available upon request. Hoachlander Davis Photography continues their professional and business education as members of the Architectural Photographers Specialty Group of ASMP (the American Society of Media Photographers), the American Institute of Architects and the National Building Museum.
