2. Collection and storage of personal data as well as the nature and purpose of their use

a) When visiting the website - Logfile

When accessing our website, information of a general nature is automatically recorded. This information (server log files) includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, and similar. In addition, the IP address is transmitted and used to provide the service you requested. This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver web pages requested by you and is mandatory when using the Internet. c) Processing of data when submitting a review on an entry/profile

If you submit a review on one of the entries/profiles of a tradesperson published by us, we collect the data you provide for verification (Double-Opt-In) and to trace the review. Only the comment, your first name, and the first letter of your last name are published. Additional data, such as your email address, full last name, etc., are stored internally and not published. The reviews and associated data are deleted no later than 3 years after the review was created. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide our users with the opportunity to leave reviews and thus offer other users of our site a better basis for decision-making when searching for tradespeople.

d) Processing your data during the new registration of your company

As a tradesperson, you can register with us. The personal data collected during registration or ordering are stored until the statutory retention periods expire. In the case of a free entry, we delete your data no later than 3 years after the termination of the contract. The legal basis for processing your personal data collected during registration or ordering is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 b) GDPR. The retention of data due to statutory retention obligations follows Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 c) GDPR.

e) Range measurement using Matomo

We use a tool for range measurement on our website. This tool does not use cookies unless you have explicitly consented to setting cookies. Without cookies, we use the tool from Matomo to create statistical usage analyses of our websites so that we can design and optimize our website according to needs. For this purpose, we collect data about your use and behavior on our website, and this data is anonymized and aggregated into a statistic after a maximum of 24 hours. g) Use of the appointment booking tool meetergo

We have integrated meetergo on this website. The provider is meetergo GmbH, Hansaring 61, 50670 Köln (hereinafter meetergo). meetergo provides an online appointment booking tool. When you make an appointment with us online, the data you enter is stored on the servers of meetergo in Germany. In addition, meetergo temporarily captures your IP address, your referrer URL, the time of access, and can determine that you have made a request with us; these data are used exclusively for the technical provision of the service and are then automatically deleted. We use the service of OpenStreetMap, a service of Geofabrik GmbH, Amalienstraße 44, 76133 Karlsruhe, Germany, on this website. This serves the purpose of displaying map excerpts directly on the website, thus facilitating the easy localization of places we have indicated on the website.
