The Health Services Association of California Community Colleges is an organization of community college health professionals who provide and advocate for student health programs. This organization is comprised of two geographically determined Sections, Northern and Southern with five regions in each. The Northern Section includes the area north of San Luis Obispo, comprising Regions One through Five. The Southern Section extends south to the Mexican Border, with Regions Six through Ten. The overall philosophy of this organization needs to always be student focused. California Community Colleges Health Services exist to serve students. Secondly, this organization exists to promote and advocate for health and health services for California Community College students. The organization does this through pooling resources of experts in California Community Colleges Health Services, making the voices heard which promote and advocate for the health of students, enhancing the commitment to community college health and building bridges and networks to accomplish the overall purposes of the organization.
