Description of Lightray Photoimagery

Lightray Photoimagery was founded April 12, 2000, to coincide with the first public showing of photographic artist Don Bristow, and it developed into a full-service photography studio serving families and businesses in Sacramento. However, as of January 1, 2007, Lightray Photoimagery is re-focused on fine art photography and mathematical renderings. Don's fine art photography has been shown at Artisan Gallery, Centerline Gallery, CSU Sacramento, Doiron Gallery, East Sac Gallery, Flower Concepts, Gallery W, Pegase Restaurant & Art Bar and Taylor's Nouveau Fine Art Gallery, and his commercial photography work has appeared in N Magazine, Sacramento Magazine, Sacramento Spotlight Magazine, U.S. Oncology Magazine, VAR Business Magazine, North Bay Business Journal, Natomas Journal, Natomas Living Magazine, Car Care Magazine and various company websites, newsletters and trade shows. Don is a member of the National Artist Guild and has been a member of Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley, the Sacramento Valley Photographic Art Center, Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, Professional Digital Imaging Associate, Business Network International (Natomas Chapter), and the North Sacramento and Natomas Chambers of Commerce. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Liberal Studies from CSU Sacramento. Sandy Bristow has played a number of support roles for Lightray Photoimagery, but as of March 1, 2007, she is the sales representative for the Chaotica collection of mathematical renderings. "Photography is many things, but for me it is a means to search for, to discover, to behold and to capture the natural beauty that is inherent in God's creation.
