Description of Young Musicians and Artists

YMA: Young Musicians & Artists is not a traditional teen summer camp. YMA is a 2 week residential summer camp for teens and young adults focusing on the visual and performing arts. Young Musicians & Artists is an Oregon summer camp specializing in the areas of: Band, Choir, Songwriting and Composition, Creative Writing, Dance, Theater, Musical Theater, Orchestra, Digital Photography, Piano and Visual Arts. During the two week summer programs, these subjects are taught by professional instructors form around the region. Students join YMA's summer camps for professional instruction, teen leadership training and a residential camp experience. YMA is Oregon's premier residential arts program and has been since 1965.
