We take our reputation very seriously, for unless our name is synonymous with integrity, competence, and independence, the firm will have no future in a profession whose very reason for existence derives from these qualities. To ensure that our standards are maintained on a high level, our firm has joined the Private Companies Practice Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. By joining this section, we have agreed to be reviewed by our peers in public accounting every three years. We also joined The Construction Industry CPAs/Consultants Association (CICPAC), a nationwide network of accomplished CPA firms specifically selected for their experience in and commitment to serving the construction industry. In 2004, The Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) created a new industry certification, the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP). As an indication of our support for the CFMA and the construction industry, we are committed to having all of our principals and managers take the CCIFP examination. To date, we have had four partners and two managers take and pass the exam.
