YSU, located on a 140-acre campus in Youngstown, Ohio, is an undergraduate-focused urban university that enrolls nearly 13,000 students. Students attend from northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania, as well as 40 other states and 59 countries. YSU offers more than 100 academic majors. The University has six major undergraduate colleges comprised of the College of Arts and Sciences, The Warren P. Williamson, Jr. College of Business Administration, the Beegley College of Education, the College of Fine and Performing Arts, the College of Health and Human Services, and the William Rayen College of Engineering and Technology. The School of Graduate Studies offers six master's degrees and a doctorate in educational leadership. In addition the University sponsors the Northeaster Ohio Universities College of Medicine. Youngstown State University is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, with additional accreditation of programs by their respective professional accrediting bodies. In particular the College of Engineering and Technology is internationally accredited by ABET, the Accrediting Board for Engineering and Technology.
