The Hudson River Museum provides a unique setting for your next corporate or private event. Located in a 23-acre park facing one of the most magnificent riverscapes in the world, it features a three-level building of modernist design with spacious galleries, a restored 1876 Victorian mansion, Glenview, listed on the National Registry for Historic sites, and the Andrus Planetarium. Please note, if you view the museum on your own, you will be charged admission and you will not have access to the private areas that you may wish to use. Allow us to give you a tour and tell you how we can make your event special. Business, training, sales and annual meetings can be held in our private meeting room during museum hours. Meals will be catered by the Museum Cafe and attendees can visit exhibits, the Planetarium and the Mansion. Events for 30 to 500 people. Seated dining for 200. Catering by our exclusive museum caterers with a wide range of menu, format and pricing. Using the Hudson River Museum for business or personal events is a Museum membership benefit. Private events are held after the Museum closes to the public (5 pm), so the entire complex will be reserved for you and your guests. If you plan to hold your wedding ceremony, as well as reception at the museum, the ceremony can be conducted in the Outdoor Courtyard, Planetarium, Upper Main Gallery or the enclosed Breezeway. The Mansion and Lower Main Gallery are available for your guests' visiting pleasure and formal photographs throughout the evening, however, food and drink cannot be served in these spaces. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres may be served in the Upper Main Gallery, outdoor courtyard and dining level only. The Dining Level is suitable for a buffet or sit-down meal for up to 180 guests, including space for a dance floor.
