However, our service area stretches across the Yakima Valley, Columbia Basin, Horse Heaven Hills, and Ellensburg. With our office centrally located among these districts we are able to provide our customer base with same day service and product delivery. In addition to our Union Gap location we also have an Oregon branch which services the tree fruit districts of the Hood River Valley. G.S. Long Co. was founded on customer service and we pride ourselves in being a service orientated company. From field service to product delivery and everything in between we offer a great deal of service to our customers. In keeping with this tradition we have been a proud member of the IAP Group since 1999. Field Consultants provide many services to our customers. With combined experience of over 200 years in the field our 17 consultants offer expertise in all areas of tree fruit and vine crop production. Some of the services our fieldstaff provide includes: Crop monitoring for insect and disease pressure. Computer generated recommendations for control of any problems found, using the most up to date Integrated Pest Management practices available. Soil and foliar fertilizer recommendations.
