The mission of the Department of Public Works & Parks is to maintain the City's water, sewer and street and traffic systems for the protection of the public's safety and to maintain all city parks, playgrounds, beaches and street trees, as well as maintaining the cemetery and public buildings so as to improve the quality of life for all the citizens of Worcester.
