Woodland Christian School was established in 1974. We began with only a handful of students in the primary elementary grades and have grown to over 800 students on two campuses. Our elementary campus is located at our original 5 acre site, with 16 classrooms, a library, computers in every classroom, and an athletic field. Our middle school consists of grades 6-8. It provides a more personal environment where students can develop the academic and social skills necessary to excel in our high school. The middle school program includes a sports program to compete after school with other area schools, student council to develop quality Christian leadership, outdoor education, and computer classes to teach word processing skills and a music program that is unsurpassed. The Matmor campus consists of our middle school and high school. Each year we have added an additional grade and in 2002 we finalized this process by adding our 12th grade class. We will be starting this year with nearly 400 middle school and high school students at our Matmor location. We have a state of the art computer and science lab to facilitate in preparing them for the science and technology fields that they may wish to pursue.
