The Winthrop Playmakers is a non-profit theater company founded in 1938. We are dedicated to presenting quality theatrical productions at affordable prices in order to keep live theater accessible to the community at large. We strive to promote and foster a safe, enriching, enjoyable experience and a sense of genuine community among our board of directors, performers, audiences, donors and all supporters, in order to be a vital contributor to arts and to Winthrop and it's surrounding towns.
