Two hundred years ago, in the Canary Islands, Miriam Vigoa’s great-grandmother created the foundation for this recipe. In 1995 Miriam harmonized her ingredients and created “Splash” for her business partner, Kristi Linebaugh, to cook with at their restaurant, Cafe Latte Coffee House, in Winter Haven, Florida. Beginning with cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, she hand blends fresh organic garlic, kombu, sea salt, and a multitude of spices and non-irradiated herbs imported from all over the world to infuse a natural and great tasting condiment that can be used in a huge variety of recipes.
