Pay: Wake Works offers a sliding pay rate between $10-20 (more than ANY job on campus). Management: Wake Works is run by Wake Forest students for Wake Forest students. We offer not only the opportunity to work, but also to lead. Experience: Wake Works provides free training to all of its employees which, when combined with hands-on experience, has enabled several employees to gain positions in five-star establishments during the summer! Scholarships: Wake Works offers two academic scholarships each year to any eligible employee. Winners are evaluated on both academic performance and dedication to Wake Works. These gifts help cover the cost of books for most students. Schedule: Once a student joins Wake Works he/she will receive e-mail listing the events for that week. Each employee is entitled to work as many or as few events as they desire. Our only stipulation is that each employee works two events per semester. Service Projects: Wake Works organizes two community service projects every year. We take community involvement seriously and attempt to give back to the Piedmont Triad at every opportunity. Friends: We maintain a large staff of Wake Forest students, allowing employees to work with their friends while earning excellent wages.
