Golden State Risk Management Authority (GSRMA) is a risk-sharing insurance pool that offers a full line of programs to cover the many unique exposures of public entities throughout the State of California. We are well-funded and structured to offer extremely competitive products to individual public agencies. We have been Accredited with Excellence through California Association of Joint Powers Authorities since 1992. Our current membership covers a broad spectrum of public agencies including, but not limited to, cemetery districts, special districts (water, sewer, and lighting), fire districts, school districts, counties and cities. Golden State Risk Management Authority currently has 142 member agencies. GSRMA was created for the purpose of providing services and other items necessary and appropriate for the establishment, operation and maintenance of liability, workers compensation, property and other risk pooling and insured plans for the public agencies. We also provide our members with a forum for discussion, study, development and implementation of recommendations of mutual interest regarding risk pooling and insured programs.
