Northern Cochise Community Hospital, Inc. was organized in 1968 as a not-for-profit corporation. It is a Critical Access Hospital providing basic medical, surgical, ambulatory and emergency room care and rehabilitation services. There is a District board and a Coporate board. The Corporate board oversees the business of the entity. The NCHS governing board consists of seven members: the Chief of Staff, five members elected by the residents of the hospital district and one appointed member.
