Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc. (Holdings) commenced operations, through the acquisition of The Boeing Company’s (Boeing) operations in Wichita, Kansas, Tulsa, Oklahoma and McAlester, Oklahoma (the Boeing Acquisition). Holdings provides manufacturing and design expertise in a range of products and services for aircraft original equipment manufacturers and operators through its subsidiary, Spirit AeroSystems, Inc (Spirit). In April 2006, Holdings acquired the aero structures division of BAE Systems (Operations) Limited (BAE Aerostructures), which builds structural components for Airbus, Boeing and Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (formerly Raytheon Aircraft Company).
