Kansas Medical Group Management Association is a vital resource to medical practice administrators because it offers educational programs, publications, and networking opportunities as well as other services. KMGMA provides members with important information concerning health care issues affecting medical practices. It prepares members to deal with state and local legislative and legal issues as well as keeping them informed about competition, third-party payers and the activities of various medical professional organizations. Members have the opportunity to meet with colleagues on a regular basis. Legally independent from the national Medical Group Management Association, the KMGMA is governed by its own bylaws and elected leadership. KMGMA is represented at the MGMA regional (section) and national levels through the MGMA Council of Presidents. What is the purpose of KMGMA?
