Founded in October 1994, the primary purpose of ValleyNet is to provide and facilitate community-based information resources for the Upper Connecticut River Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont. ValleyNet is a community resource for local residents and a tax exempt charitable organization. Our offices are located at 58 North Main Street in White River Junction, Vermont, and our mailing address is 58 North Main Street, PO Box 486, White River Junction, VT 05001. As a non-profit, we provide valuable education and information about the Upper Valley. We have an on-line events calendar, help pages, directory listings, computer recycling collections, and free workshops to help community members learn more about the Internet and their computers. We offer help to community organizations, communities, and small businesses in setting up websites, and offer domain-name email accounts for organizations. We're now offering email discussion lists to organizations and communities to facilitate that mode of communication among members of communities, organizations, and interest groups.
