The UVHL is an elite 'A' level adult hockey league based out of the Union Arena in Woodstock, VT. The 2007-08 season will run from October 9th, 2007 through March 11th, 2008. There will be NO games played on December 25th or January 1st due to the holidays. Players should have no less than high school hockey experience, or equivalent, to compete in the UVHL. Games are on Tuesday nights at 6:30, 8:05 and 9:40 PM. The league is body contact but NON-checking, and we currently have 6 established teams, but we are still looking for about 10 quality players to add to our existing rosters for the 2007-2008 season. The UVHL is an official USA Hockey league, and all players must be current USA Hockey members to step on the ice. We have 2 USA Hockey certified refs each game, a cool website, stats (G, A, PIM's), trash talk, polls, and weekly game write-ups, plus quality hockey! MISSION STATEMENT: The UVHL is dedicated to develop and uphold the highest level of adult league hockey and sportsmanship in Vermont. Our passion is hockey, and our quest is to become Vermont's Premier Adult Hockey League.
