Wethersfield Historical Society owns houses and other historic structures (some pre-dating the American Revolution), operates a museum of local history and artifacts and regularly conducts educational programs focusing on the history of Wethersfield, Connecticut and its environment. The Society also has a 200 seat capacity hall in a Victorian era school house dedicated to the memory of Ensign Robert Allan Keeney, a town resident who was lost with the U.S. Indianapolis during World War II. The hall is rented for weddings, celebrations, bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs, social and business meetings and dances.
