Geotechnical Consultants, Inc. (GCI) is a consulting firm located in Central, Ohio, specializing in geotechnical and geoenvironmental consulting and engineering, construction monitoring, laboratory testing, site project management, environmental assessments, wetland consulting, and drilling services. Presently, GCI is rated among the largest consulting engineering firms in Central Ohio and we continue to grow. In the summer of 2003, we opened an office in Charlotte, NC. Our clients include architects, developers, engineers, contractors, state and local government agencies. The reason for our success is simple. Early in our evolution, we established a company philosophy to "provide engineering, consulting, and testing services to our clients with integrity, innovation, and personal attention, at a reasonable fee." We have completed projects ranging in size and scope from single family homes and subdivisions, to multi-story office complexes and regional shopping centers. Some of our more recent and interesting projects include The Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio, The Polaris Mall and Shopping Center in Columbus, Ohio, and The Waterfront Project in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. With the acquisition of GeoTDR in 2000, GCI has provided geotechnical consulting for projects world wide. Our professional GCI staff includes geotechnical engineers, geologists, environmental specialists, and engineering technicians.
