Vasomedical, Inc. (Vasomedical) is primarily engaged in designing, manufacturing, marketing and supporting enhanced external counterpulsation (EECP) systems based on its technology indicated for use in cases of stable or unstable angina (chest pain), congestive heart failure (CHF), acute myocardial infarction (MI) and cardiogenic shock. The EECP therapy system is a non-invasive, outpatient therapy for the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system. The therapy serves to increase circulation in areas of the heart with less than adequate blood supply and helps to restore systemic vascular function. The Company provides hospitals, clinics and physician private practices with EECP equipment, treatment guidance, and a staff training and equipment maintenance program.
