Armageddon Books operates as a division of Cliffside Publishing House located in the small North Carolina mountain town of West Jefferson. Brodrick Shepherd, founder and company president, recognized the need for a source offering a comprehensive selection of prophecy materials during his own research into the book of Daniel. He discovered that Christian bookstores generally offered only five to 10 prophecy titles, all representing the same prophetic view. Shepherd created Armageddon Books as a mail order bookseller in January, 1995. Initially, the print catalog offered approximately 90 Bible prophecy titles, including books, videos, charts. The Armageddon Books Web Site opened in July, 1996 and has steadily expanded to encompass a full slate of prophecy materials. Today, Armageddon Books operates solely as an internet bookseller.
