Haights Cross Communications, Inc. (Haights Cross) is a developer and publisher of products for the K-12 education, library and medical education markets. Its products include supplemental reading books with a concentration on non-fiction content, state-specific test preparation materials, skills assessment and intervention books, unabridged audiobooks and continuing medical education products. Haights Cross is organized into four business segments: K-12 Supplemental Education, Test-prep and Intervention, Library and Medical Education. Under K-12 Supplemental Education, the Company publishes supplemental reading materials for the pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, or PreK-8. In June 2008, Haights Cross completed the sale of all of the membership interests of its wholly owned indirect subsidiary, Oakstone Publishing, LLC, pursuant to a Membership Interest Purchase Agreement by and among Haights Cross Operating Company, Oakstone Publishing, LLC, and Oakstone Holding Company, LLC.
