North Real Estate was established in 1973 as an independent Real Estate office servicing the Mt. Snow region of Southern Vermont. Started by Robert B. & Margaret North, it operated for many years in a small addition built onto their home. With time the business grew and evolved until in 1987 we moved into our present location. Proudly sitting just 2 miles south of Mount Snow in the North Commercial Plaza, we are consistently among the top 3 producers in the Mt. Snow/Haystack region. The office is still owned and operated by the Norths and features 6 full time sales and rental agents, as well as a full time comptroller, maintenance and cleaning staff. North Real Estate specializes in the location and sale of Commercial & Residential property, as well as land sales & development, Fannie Mae & Bank R.E.O. sales and condominium resales. Over the years North Real Estate has built many private houses by contract and on speculation. We have developed and built such projects as the Mt. Snow Airport, Partridge Run, and the North Commercial Plaza. Our rental department represents over 200 privately owned properties which we rent for both short and long term periods. Our most popular rental periods are the Ski season (most notably Christmas through New Year's and Presidents' week), Fall foliage, and Golfing and Mountain Biking season during the Summer.
