Aramaic Bible Translation (ABT) is a non-profit organization designed to efficiently reach its goals. We function with a small administrative staff who work hand-in-hand with translation teams assigned to each project. Every six months the ABT board meets to review the progress of the last six months and set new goals for the next six months. The ABT board members are volunteers who serve to oversee the work of the translation team and to maintain the financial integrity of the organization. Team members serve depending on the Lord for their livelihood -- some as missionaries on loan from other organizations such as Wycliffe Bible Translators, others are paid a small stipend and make ends meet by working a second job. The board, the admin staff and team have one thing in common: a deep commitment to present God's Word to Aramaic speakers in translations that are both accurate and beautiful.
