Student Lending Works is the State of Ohio's designated nonprofit student loan lender. We have access to tax-exempt funds, which allows us to provide great loan discounts to qualified borrowers. What is our mission? Our nonprofit mission is to lower the cost of education for students and their parents. We accomplish this several ways:By using our tax-exempt funds to offer the best loan discounts to Ohio students and residents. By providing scholarships and student loan sweepstakes to help students and graduates lower their student loan debt. By reinvesting the surplus from our lending activities back into Ohio education programs. To date, our parent organization, KnowledgeWorks Foundation, and its partners have invested $100-million to improve college access and educational opportunities.
