US Hwy 45 (running north-south) and US Hwy 84 (running east-west) intersect in Waynesboro. US Hwy 63 begins at the courthouse in Waynesboro and travels south to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. Under the direction of Chief Leonard Frost, the Waynesboro Police Department has 14 full-time sworn officers, 4 part-time officers, and 6 civilian employees.
