Built in 1887, the Francesca Chapel is the oldest church building in Waxahachie, Texas. The interior roof supports display gothic revival features that are rare and among the earliest examples of this style. The original altar and prayer benches were handmade, and are still in use. The Francesca Chapel is used by two congregations for Sunday worship services, and has proved an ideal setting for numerous wedding ceremonies.
