Throughout the year, CDT is committed to recognizing, encouraging and developing each and every student who walks through our door. This philosophy leaves the student with a positive self-image and a sense of discipline and dedication, regardless of their career ambitions. We provide a professional study program for the serious student, and offer numerous performing opportunities - an integral part of a dancer's training. In addition to scheduled, advertised ballets, concerts and master classes, our "Dance into the Community" programs are available to schools, senior citizens and community outreach organizations. CDT offers summer programs and hosts the Connecticut Summer Dance Festival, providing intensive and specialized training for serious students of both Ballet and Musical Theatre, as well as appreciation programs for children, teens and adults.
