Freestate Electrical Construction Co. is a union electrical contractor that belongs to the National Electrical Contractors Association, Washington, D.C. Chapter. Its electricians are members of Local 26, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Freestate is also a member of the Electrical Alliance, a cooperative effort between the union and NECA to enhance the quality of products and services electrical contractors provide to their customers and to set the standard for excellence within the electrical industry.
