FBA was founded in 1981 as Florida Business Associates, initially specializing in representing Florida clients in Washington. While maintaining its Florida connections, the name was later shortened to FBA to reflect a growing national client base and expertise in a range of national issues. The strength of FBA lies in its ability to manage information gathering and advocacy on an integrated basis, covering the Congress, the Executive Branch, and federal and state agencies.
