ERA Consulting was founded as a result of a management buy-out of a regulatory function within a toxicology contract research organisation, to attain independence. As a result, our company can boast a cumulative history of experience spanning 20 years, since the early days of the regulation of products derived from biotechnology in the late 1980s. Our parent company was founded in Germany in 1993, and a subsidiary in London followed shortly thereafter in 1995 in response to the establishment of the European Medicines Agency (EMEA). In response to requests from our growing US client base, operations were established in the USA in 1997, with an office in Washington DC. During the evolution of our activities during the past 20 years, we have striven continuously to upgrade and update our scientific expertise, reaching a balance in the team between long years of experience and the infusion of know-how in cutting edge technologies. We remain dedicated to the concept of specialising in biopharmaceutical products, in which we have the necessary experience and an unparalleled track record of success.
