Cohen Mohr specializes in the practice of federal, state, and local procurement, administrative and contract law. In particular, Cohen Mohr specializes in representing automated data processing (ADP) and high-technology hardware and service companies in federal procurement matters, including related civil and criminal litigation. Over the twenty years since the firm was established, Cohen Mohr has represented a wide range of ADP and high-technology companies marketing to the state, local and federal government. These businesses include remote computing service companies; hardware manufacturers; software manufacturers; instrumentation vendors; microfiche and document processing equipment manufacturers; custom software houses; peripheral equipment manufacturers; systems integrators; telecommunication equipment companies; telecommunication carriers; hardware and software distributors; value-added resellers and retailers. In addition to ADP and high-technology concerns, Cohen Mohr also represents a wide variety of other companies selling to the state, local and federal government, including construction contractors and subcontractors, consultants, furniture manufacturers, leasing companies, gas mask manufacturers, training companies, audiovisual companies, engineering firms and office equipment manufacturers and dealers. Cohen Mohr has assisted clients in virtually all aspects of the state, local and federal procurement process. This includes reviewing formally advertised and negotiated contract solicitations; preparing and negotiating GSA schedules; drafting opinion letters; interpreting contract clauses; protesting contract awards; pursuing claims under on-going contracts; and defending against defective pricing claims, suspension and debarment actions, and related criminal charges. We also have extensive experience in the area of small disadvantaged business matters. This experience includes 8(a) applications and appeals, 8(a) program advice and assistance, Certificate of Compliance requests, size appeals, SDB protests and other small business matters.
