The Bowen Center for the Study of the Family publishes books and an interdisciplinary journal (Family Systems, A Journal of Natural Systems Theory in Psychiatry and the Sciences) on a variety of topics related to Bowen theory. Our books are available for purchase on our online store, along with several articles which have appeared in outside publications. The store can also can be used to subscribe to the Journal and purchase back issues. Family Systems Journal publishes previously unpublished archival papers, articles by the present generation of Bowen theorists and therapists, and articles by scientists. Additional information about what the Journal offers in each issue, subscription information and purchase of back issues are all available in the Journal section of our online store. The upcoming issue of the Family Systems Journal will be published in late fall of 2007. Read a letter from our Managing Editor about the Journal and what is planned for the next issue,Volume 8.1. Family Systems Journal welcomes submissions for publication consideration. Guidelines for submission can be found on our submit articles web page. Family Systems is indexed and abstracted in Sociological Abstracts, Social Services Abstracts, Political Science Abstracts, Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts and the e-psyche database.
