Ortho Rhode Island was born in 2015 out of the consolidation of Foundry Orthopedics, South County Orthopedics, and West Bay Orthopedics, driven by a team of like-minded physicians, some of whom had trained together at Brown University. Together, they realized a vision of a fully integrated, independent, and physician-owned group committed to a one-of-a-kind patient experience in orthopedics. Since then, Ortho Rhode Island has grown into a leader in orthopedic innovation, including its pioneering role in bringing robotic-assisted surgery to the region, and constructing its state-of-the-art Warwick Campus and Surgery Center in 2021.
