Highland School
Info
Established in 1928, Highland School is an independent, non-sectarian, co-educational day school serving 554 students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. Located in Warrenton, Virginia, our scenic 41-acre campus is ideally situated between Washington, D.C. and Shenandoah National Park which provides ready access to the area's rich resources. Highland School draws students from nine different counties due to the strength and proven effectiveness of our academic, artistic, athletic and experiential education programs. Other programs which distinguish us from our peer schools include leadership and character development, learning center, service learning and college counseling. Highland School values honesty, hard work, diversity of background and experience, a positive attitude and a commitment to self-improvement. The Admission Office seeks to enroll students who share these values and will work hard to take advantage of our unique educational environment. We are accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools (VAIS) and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or ethnic group in the administration of our educational, employment or admission policies, and our scholarship, athletic, and other school-administered programs. We encourage you to schedule a campus visit to fully appreciate what our community will offer your child. Tours and half-day student visits are scheduled daily by appointment. Financial considerations should not deter you from applying, as we have a comprehensive financial aid program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. The Admission and Financial Aid Office may be reached at 540-878-2700 or admission@highlandschool.org. Thank you for considering Highland School!
