Founded by Michael Hunter in 1985, Hunter Publishing began as a publisher of guides to unusual destinations, places for which little in-depth information was available. Often they were the only resource available to travelers. Today, Hunter Publishing continues to provide readers with unusual travel books, but has also expanded its horizons and now produces a comprehensive range of travel guides to the Caribbean, the U.S., Europe, South America and the far reaches of the globe.
