Located in Stamford, CT, Stelma became the leader in communication technical control systems, and introduced its first FDM multiplexer in 1966. In 1969, the company was purchased by Dataproducts Corporation, the largest independent computer printer company in the world. Today, DNE Technologies, Inc. focuses on the design and development of communication and switched network access products. DNE's 70,000 square foot facility allows research and development to work closely with design, engineering, production and field service to manufacture high-quality products which are well-suited to the changing nature of communications. In 2003, DNE continued that commitment by receiving ISO 9001:2000 certification, a new set of standards which emphasizes the voice of the customer as well as process improvement. Used in Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and other critical communication applications, DNE products continue to be reliable and meet today's communication challenges in both military and commercial applications worldwide.
