R. Kenneth Weeks Engineers is a Civil/Environmental engineering design firm celebrating its 50th year in 2004. Services include field surveys, project planning, financial planning, rate studies, design, construction administration and resident supervision of construction for a wide variety of projects for municipalities, the Federal Government and private clients. Major civil projects have included: Groundwater and surface water supply Water transmission and distribution mains Ground and elevated water storage tanks Water and sewage pumping stations Gravity and vacuum sewage collection systems Water and sewage treatment plants Drainage and stormwater management Airport runways, taxiways and aprons Streets and highways Access roadways, parking and security measures Site improvements Our office is located in Norfolk, Virginia in the center of the Hampton Roads area. Most of our projects are in Southern Virginia but we have also worked on the Eastern Shore, Richmond area, Waynesboro area and in several foreign locations for the Federal Government. We pride ourselves in having provided quality, economical engineering services for half a century. The firm has received numerous commendations for work accomplished. Being a small firm of 15 people there is active participation of principals in every project.
