We proudly protect and serve the people living and passing through our community in southern Butler County. Middlesex Township VFC operates out of a station located on Brownshill Road and protects a primarily residential and rural area with a population of approximately 5800 citizens. The Middlesex VFC is a public company whose members are on a volunteer status. Middlesex is also active in mutual aid with the following surrounding departments Valencia, Mars, Penn, Saxonburg, Richland and West Deer. Public education, fire inspection and suppression, emergency medical service, elevated technical rescue, confined space rescue, trench rescue, water rescue, disaster response, and rapid intervention teams are provided from our fire station.
