HR Avenues is an independent human resources consulting firm located in the Bay Area of Northern California. Ann Allison-Marsh, Senior Professional in Human Resources, is the human resources practitioner providing services to employers. Ann's experience includes over 20 years with a large, multi-state retailer. She had complete responsibility for employee relations affecting 275 stores and five distribution centers. She also led the human resources function for supply chain/logistics management. Ann has led the human resources function in a privately held pre-IPO company. Her experience also includes leading the human resources function in a post-dot com era public technology company. Ann has experience in diverse industries such as retail, health care, automotive, technology, manufacturing and other service industries. Ann believes that human resources is an important business partner. This means understanding the business, assessing the human resources needs, and ensuring that human resources practices and decisions are appropriate for the business and its employees.
