The Cataract Center of East Texas is designed, equipped, and staffed exclusively for ophthalmic surgery. It is a joint venture between NovaMed, Inc., and the physicians of EyeCare Associates of East Texas. The Cataract Center provides specialized, convenient care in a relaxed atmosphere. Outpatient surgery allows patients to be discharged shortly after surgery to recuperate in the comfort of their own home. The Cataract Center has been in operation since 1985 and is state-licensed and Medicare Certified.
