Preferred Pediatric Home Health Care was founded in 1989 by a pediatric RN and has offices in Tulsa, Enid, Sallisaw and Oklahoma City. We currently serve the greater part of the state of Oklahoma. Preferred Home Health Care and Preferred Pharmacy are divisions of PPHHC. Although the company was founded as a pediatric home care company, we have grown and expanded into the adult market to meet the demands and needs of our physicians and patients. Corporate offices remain in Tulsa for all divisions of the company. Preferred Pediatric/Preferred Home Health Care offers intake 24/7 as well as the services and support from our in-house compounding pharmacy. We accept Medicaid and work with all private insurance companies, excluding Medicare. We handle preliminary paperwork and also accept credit cards, checks and cash. We offer your patient courteous and professional home delivery. Clinical nurses instruct and educate your patient on the proper use of their medical equipment. Our goal is to keep things simple for the physician and the patient and offer a "one stop shopping" approach to home care. We offer case management to coordinate the needs of your patients and assure quality and continuity of care. Our staff can provide nursing visits or hourly care, supplies, DME, and prescription medications. One call delivers all of the services your patients and families need whether the patient is an infant, child or adult. We offer follow up care for post surgical patients such as pain management and wound care. We can assist for short-term patients needing hourly care or are equipped to care for the chronically ill child leaving a NICU or hospital setting.
