RPI Properties Inc., formerly Redekop Properties Inc., is a homebuilder of residential condominium apartment and townhouse communities in Greater Vancouver and throughout British Columbia's Lower Mainland. The Company identifies and takes advantage of real estate development opportunities by acquiring sites, securing rezoning where necessary, and arranging for the financing, design and construction of its projects. The Company's communities are designed primarily to appeal to owner-occupants seeking housing that offers community-oriented designs with a variety of neighbourhood amenities. The Company follows the general practice of establishing a separate subsidiary, which the Company directs, to develop, finance and market each condominium apartment and townhouse project as generally required by the Company's construction lending financial institutions in order to manage and limit its project-related risk. Its shareholders approved RPI's name change on May 22, 2001.
