Quiltwoman publishes patterns and books on quilting and textile crafts. Our many free services include directories to teachers, shops, guilds, shows, service providers, quilt related trips, quilt galleries and designers. We also have free tips, color lessons and project patterns on the "Free Stuff" page. Â Our goal is to provide patterns that are beautiful, complete, accurate and have a high value to the quilter. We usually have multiple projects and/or multiple size options in each pattern. We work with many talented designers who create many wonderful designs. We provide editing, production, marketing and sales support to their creative efforts. Quiltwoman acquired Make It Easy Sewing & Crafts® (MIE) in 2002 and continues to develop the MIE patterns. MIE shared our vision for quality and was a happy addition to our company. The original set of MIE patterns were designed and written by McKenna Linn (formerly Nancy Restuccia). The patterns are both fun and practical and encourage your own creativity. After acquiring MIE, McKenna (Nancy at the time) and QuiltWoman published the book, "Publish Your Patterns, How to Write, Print, and Market Your Designs" which has become a "must have" book for anyone wishing to publish their own patterns. Nancy wrote the book and Ann Anderson edited and published it.
