The Ocean County YMCA is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy sprit, mind, and body for all. It is our belief that every person in our community should have the opportunity to become a member and participate in the programs the YMCA has to offer regardless of their age, gender, religion, race, ability, or income. Your sustaining contribution will provide financial aid to youth, families, and seniors who cannot pay the fees. It may answer the prayers of a family in need of child care or a child's dream of being part of a team. While the Ocean County YMCA has over 7,000 members using our facilities, child care, camp, fitness and aquatic programs and is home to six area high school swim teams, we fell we have only scratched the surface on the impact we can have on our communities. Your contribution is important to help us meet our mission and to build strong kids, strong families, strong communities. The Ocean County YMCA provides approximately $130,000 in scholarship money towards memberships and programs. The YMCA provides scholarships and financial assistance for over 200 children in summer day camp and over 70 children in before and after school programs.
