ChemValve has been manufacturing high performance, fully lined plug and ball check valves since 1987. In 1993, Albert H. Klopfenstein took ownership of the company. Mr. Klopfenstein has been committed to designing solutions for challenging flow applications. Mr. Klopfenstein is a graduate of Texas A & M University. He has been in the valve business since 1962 with Keystone International and Fisher Governor Co. (now Fisher Controls International). His experience and knowledge has lead to many innovative designs here at ChemValve, such as the field replaceable seats, extended face to face and the Model 790EB Double Block and Bleed to name a few. ChemValve is located in Tomball, Texas which is right outside of Houston. ChemValve is a member of The Chlorine Institute. We at ChemValve feel passionately about the safety issues associated with the flow of chlorine. We work diligently with our customers to design the valve that solves their flow problems as well as keeping their people safe. ChemValve is also a member of the Association of American Railroads. Our valves and our facility have their approval. We offer extensive quality control tests to insure the performance of our valves and our customer's safety. ChemValve is approved by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority of Canada. Our company has a CPN number and can ship to anywhere in Canada.
