Thomasville Medical Center offers surgical suites equipped with the most advanced technology available to provide a broad range of surgical services. The surgical team includes surgeons, registered nurses, certified surgical technicians and surgical assistants who are available to provide 24 hour access for urgent and emergent surgical needs. Elective surgical procedures are usually scheduled Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Thomasville Medical Center's Triad Heartburn Treatment Center is the only center provided in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina offering both the overnight-stay minimally invasive Laparoscopic Nissen Fundoplication and the new outpatient Stretta Procedure.
